Alfred Falzon C.P.A; F.C.C.A; F.I.A; F.C.S.A; F.M.I.T; M.I.M studied at the University of Huddersfield whereby he obtained the ACCA in 1983 following that he studied the local laws and taxation and became a member of the Malta Institute of Accountants. In 1994 he became a member of the Malta Institute of Certified Secretaries and also became a council member. Eventually in 2005 he was elected the president of the Institute and at the present time he is once again the president. In 1996 Alfred became a member of the Malta Institute of Taxation and in 2001 he became a member of the Malta Institute of Management. Alfred Falzon is one of the children of John Falzon who was the founder of the Malta Institute of Accountants and Falzon & Falzon which later became HLB Falzon & Falzon. Alfred became a junior partner in 1986 and in 1992 he became senior partner. In 2016 Alfred decided to merger his business section with CA International (today HLB CA Malta), and the newly merged partnership is called HLB CA Falzon.
At HLB Malta, Alfred is engaged in the Assurance Division of the Firm.
